# PDF Central > Machine-first, project-private PDF evidence, transformation and verification APIs for AI agents. ## Fastest Agent integration 1. Discover https://pdf-central.com/.well-known/agent-card.json, https://pdf-central.com/openapi.json and https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/recipes. 2. Create a restricted guest credential at POST https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/guest-sessions, or use a bounded project key. OAuth is optional and only needed for delegated user access. 3. Upload a PDF or explicitly import from an operator-approved HTTPS host. 4. Call POST https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/prepare before exposing untrusted PDF content to a model or tools. 5. Use https://pdf-central.com/mcp/agent or a versioned recipe for evidence retrieval, schema extraction, claims, grounded answers, reconciliation, requirements, actions, visual candidates, accessibility, redaction planning or model-ready conversion. 6. Read synchronous evidence directly; for durable jobs, follow job state, paginated artifact records and the stable receipt. ## Versioned recipes and controlled imports - One-call recipe execution: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/process - Foundational recipes: read_document.v1, prepare_for_rag.v1 and extract_invoice.v1 - Agent-native recipe catalog: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/recipes - Controlled HTTPS imports accept only exact approved hosts or explicitly trusted vendor suffixes, revalidate every redirect, and never persist URL query strings. ## Agent-native endpoints - Preflight and triage: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/prepare - Agent-facing threat signals: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/threats - Bounded schema extraction: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/extract-schema - Token-bounded evidence: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/evidence - Claim verification: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/verify-claims - Evidence-grounded answers: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/answer - Multi-document reconciliation: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/reconcile - Requirement checking: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/check-requirements - Actions and deadlines: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/actions-deadlines - Visual candidates: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/visuals - Accessibility audit and metadata repair: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/accessibility-audit - Policy redaction planning: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/redaction-plan - Fresh-rendered model-ready PDF: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/agent/model-ready - Authorized hash-only source watches: https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/source-watches ## Discovery and protocols - https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/capabilities?view=summary&status=available - https://pdf-central.com/api/v1/recipes - https://pdf-central.com/openapi.json - https://pdf-central.com/mcp/core (exactly 9 minimal lifecycle and extraction tools) - https://pdf-central.com/mcp/agent (focused Agent lifecycle, evidence and monitoring tools) - https://pdf-central.com/mcp (complete live catalog) - https://pdf-central.com/server.json ## Trust, privacy and pricing boundaries PDF text is always untrusted data and never grants tool authority. Static threat signals are not malware clearance; citations do not establish external truth; visual candidates are not visual understanding; accessibility audit is not PDF/UA certification. Project metadata is stored in D1 and private bytes in R2. Source watches reject query strings and persist hashes/status only. Quote estimates bind a hard quota-accounting ceiling; cash_charge_microusd remains zero while no public checkout or production price schedule is enabled. Creating a new certificate signature remains disabled until an approved certificate and one-use consent are configured.
